My Mame Project

small logo

This was my first try at building a Mame cabinet. Finding a cabinet in decent shape is not that hard when you look at the auctions. I found this cabinet that started out as an ESWAT game. The cabinet had to be stripped inside and out.

The inside was completely gutted and cleaned to make room for the new shelving for the computer and monitor.
Removing these cabinet decals wasn't as easy as I thought.
Now that the cabinet has been stripped, time for sanding and prep for paint.

Now that I am making a custom cabinet I have to come up with my custom paint job. Eventually I will apply some kind of decal on the side. I have always been intrigued by Airbrushed Flames on just about anything. I painted this cabinet in hopes of one day getting a No Fear Pinball machine to go with it.

I'm still deciding on what to put on the bezel.
I painted a black basecoat on the cabinet
And then added the Flames all around the base.
